Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote; hirify.globals can work from an office, from home, or a combination of both. Hiring is available in any country where hirify.global has a legal entity.

Salary: United States base pay ranges are $206,100–$269,075 for Zone A, $185,490–$242,168 for Zone B, and $171,063–$223,332 for Zone C.

What you will do

• Architect and build production ML and evaluation systems, including datasets, simulations, automated judges, regression suites, experimentation platforms, and online quality signals.
• Advance Rovo’s agentic capabilities across reasoning, planning, tool selection and use, action correctness, retrieval, memory, and long-horizon execution.
• Identify systemic failure modes, develop interventions, ship them to production, and measure their impact on customer outcomes.
• Make technical decisions across model selection, prompting, fine-tuning, data strategy, architecture, and inference while balancing quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost.
• Lead cross-organizational initiatives with ML, engineering, product, analytics, research, and design partners.
• Establish reusable quality methods and mentor engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, and a long-term AI product vision.

Requirements

• Track record of architecting and shipping large-scale ML or AI systems with measurable customer and business impact.
• Deep experience with LLM-powered products, agentic systems, model evaluation, experimentation, and dataset development.
• Strong production engineering skills and the ability to remain hands-on with a modern ML stack.
• Experience setting technical direction, influencing across teams, and leading complex initiatives from ambiguity to production.
• Strong product and technical judgment across quality, speed, reliability, safety, latency, and cost.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and improve engineering effectiveness through mentorship and technical leadership.
