Associate Director, Medical Insights and Analytics (Neuroscience)

Location: Hybrid role based in Titusville, New Jersey, United States; approximately 10% domestic travel required

Salary: $122,000–$212,750 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and prioritization of analytics and reporting for Neuroscience Medical Affairs.
• Manage dashboards that identify patient care gaps, monitor field engagements, and measure strategic initiatives.
• Assess trends in patient outcomes, health equity, population health, and stakeholder unmet needs.
• Integrate claims, clinical, research, field, and other intelligence to identify actionable customer insights.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, MSL field teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen medical engagement and improve patient outcomes.
• Contribute to medical strategies, business plans, evidence-generation plans, and new data-source partnerships.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is desirable.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, patient analytics, medical affairs, epidemiology, evidence generation, strategic planning, or management consulting.
• Experience solving ambiguous business problems and translating data-driven insights into recommendations and presentations.
• Expertise with pharmaceutical datasets, including prescription claims, medical claims, patient-level data, EHR data, or census data.
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience, strong strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership agility, and cross-functional partnering skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Tableau.

Nice to have

• Clinical data, research, or scientific exchange experience.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, Dataiku, or Python.
• Knowledge of basic statistical methods such as test-and-control analysis and regression.
• Interest in exploring and applying emerging technologies such as AI.
