Second Shift Diesel Mechanic B (Diesel and Heavy-Duty Equipment): Maintaining and repairing diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, and vehicle systems with an accent on chassis, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, engines, suspension, drivetrain, and steering. Focus on diagnosing multi-system malfunctions, performing road service, and keeping fleet equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Location: Campbell, TX, USA; regular second-shift, on-site work

What you will do
- Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, suspension, drivetrain, steering, and light engine systems.
- Service hydraulic, electrical, air brake, heating, and air-conditioning systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, line maintenance welding, fabrication, and basic tire work.
- Diagnose multi-system malfunctions using electronic diagnostic tools.
- Provide road service when required to return company equipment to safe operation.
- Complete company training programs and perform related maintenance duties.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of technician experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline- and diesel-powered equipment, or graduation from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next three months.
- Experience with or knowledge of Class 1–5 light/medium-duty and Class 7–8 heavy-duty trucks, aircraft, or ships.
- Ability to perform basic inspections with limited supervision across systems such as suspension and steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions.
- Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice to have
- Automotive Service Excellence certifications T1–T8.
- Commercial Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of work-order labor-time standards.
