Accounting & Finance Intern (Year-Round)

hirify.global is a fourth-generation family-owned steel manufacturing business producing carbon and alloy steel bar, rod, wire, and coiled products.

What you will do

• Develop an understanding of accounting and operations finance processes.
• Support financial analysis, monthly reporting, and business performance initiatives.
• Assist with cost variance analysis and other operations finance projects.
• Support fixed asset capitalization and disposal activities.
• Document processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a four-year Accounting, Finance, or related degree program and have at least sophomore standing.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Have strong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Multiple completed courses in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Oracle experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
