Product Software Engineer (Data Workflow Automation)

Location: USA - Coppell, TX; applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office for interviews.

Salary: $74,700–$127,950 USD per year, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain workflow automation platforms processing high volumes of files, documents, and business transactions.
• Build resilient systems that ingest, validate, transform, enrich, and export data across desktop applications, cloud services, APIs, databases, file systems, and third-party platforms.
• Implement workflow orchestration, checkpointing, retry strategies, state management, and automatic recovery mechanisms.
• Develop solutions for distributed, cloud-hosted Windows virtual machine environments and concurrent processing workloads.
• Modernize legacy MVC applications and integrate RESTful and GraphQL interfaces.
• Create telemetry, monitoring, logging, and diagnostic capabilities, including appropriate AI-assisted development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and modern .NET platforms.
• Experience with workflow automation, process orchestration, systems integration, ETL/ELT, queue-based architectures, event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, and distributed workloads.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills, plus experience with Azure cloud services and distributed application architectures.
• Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, Clean Code, dependency injection, unit testing, CI/CD, observability, and production monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic SDLC practices and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Experience with Specification Driven Development and judgment regarding the benefits and limitations of AI-assisted tools.
