Quality Control Analyst I - SDF

Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States; onsite work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Compensation includes leading pay and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Perform and review analysis of in-process, release, and stability samples.
• Maintain accuracy and scientific soundness of laboratory data.
• Perform routine testing in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, and site and corporate procedures.
• Support deviations, investigations, and timely delivery of laboratory results.
• Transfer technologies and processes according to project plans and timelines.
• Follow laboratory safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of experience in a clinical, industrial, or pharmaceutical laboratory.
• Associate’s degree may be considered with at least three years of relevant laboratory experience.
• High school diploma or GED may be considered with at least five years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Durham, North Carolina, including standing, sitting, precision hand work, lifting up to 33 pounds, and occasional work around hazardous materials.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GMP and laboratory techniques.
• Experience authoring scientific and technical reports.
• Basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Experience analyzing tablets using UPLC and dissolution methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
