Staff C++ Build and Release Engineer

What you will do

• Own C++ build and release workflows from source through build, testing, packaging, and release.
• Develop and maintain containerised CI/CD pipelines across isolated environments, improving speed, determinism, promotion, and repeatability.
• Build and maintain container images for edge deployment.
• Manage JFrog/Artifactory repositories, including artefact versioning, retention, and promotion practices.
• Improve C++ dependency management and build reproducibility while validating and deploying autonomy and vision products, tools, and libraries.
• Collaborate with engineers and system administrators to ensure integration and stability in real deployment environments.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience delivering modern C++ software in production.
• Experience with build systems, toolchains, and dependency management, such as Conan, CMake, Nix, Ninja, or Artifactory.
• Recent experience operating CI/CD for compiled software, including pipelines, runners, artefact stores, and promotion gates.
• Significant experience with Docker or Podman and containerised workflows.
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge, debugging and troubleshooting skills, and experience with air-gapped or isolated delivery environments.
• Experience supporting Python deployment and distribution for tooling around a C++ core.
