Quality Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with occasional travel to offsite locations

Salary: $88,281.56–$110,351.95 per year for California-based employees, depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Drive process consistency and implement ISO-compliant processes within the Quality Management System.
• Execute customer service projects that reduce defects and cycle time while improving fulfillment.
• Conduct process audits, manage regulatory compliance, and lead internal and external ISO audits.
• Manage nonconforming materials, customer complaints, and corrective and preventive action processes.
• Lead supplier and part qualification, surveillance, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Partner with Procurement, customers, suppliers, and business leadership to improve quality performance and reduce cost of quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of quality or operations experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, teamwork, and empowerment skills.
• Ability to identify and implement best practices.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara and meet the stated physical and warehouse-environment requirements.
