Tool Install & Qualification Project Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States, five days per week

Annual salary: $52,000–$200,000

What you will do

• Lead equipment installation and qualification from delivery through startup and factory readiness.
• Coordinate engineers, suppliers, OEMs, contractors, construction teams, and manufacturing partners.
• Develop and manage installation schedules, pull plans, milestones, and execution strategies.
• Ensure facility, utility, equipment, safety, cleanroom, quality, and site readiness.
• Participate in design and constructability reviews, identify risks, and improve installation efficiency.
• Resolve installation issues, conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and share lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or a related field plus 1+ year of relevant experience; or an associate’s degree related to semiconductor manufacturing plus 3+ years of experience; or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of experience specifically in EPI, Diffusion, Anneal, Implant, Spatial/ALD installation or deinstallation.
• Experience in project management, equipment or engineering tool ownership, or equivalent installation, qualification, demonstration, or maintenance technician work.
• Strong technical problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, ownership, and execution skills.

• Semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Experience with tool installation, qualification, startup, or factory ramp activities.
• Experience working with OEMs, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.
