Sr. Solutions Architect - Travel and Hospitality

Location: Remote within the United States; Washington and Seattle, Washington are listed locations, while candidates in other locations may also be considered.

Salary: $219,100–$301,300 USD annually, with potential annual performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical voice for up to nine enterprise clients.
• Partner with Account Executives to define and direct technical strategies for major Retail, CPG, travel, and hospitality accounts.
• Lead customers through evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their data and AI transformation strategy.
• Align account strategies around Databricks solutions and build technical champions within customer organizations.
• Support the adoption of ML and AI across relevant enterprise use cases.
• Provide structured mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with very large accounts exceeding $1 million ARR in Retail and CPG-related environments.
• 4+ years of pre-sales experience or experience supporting sales activities.
• Technical background in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
• Experience driving data-driven business transformation and organizational change through data.
• 3+ years of design and implementation experience with Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP, or full-lifecycle data science solutions.
• Production programming experience with Python, R, Scala, or Java, including maintaining and extending production data systems.
