Digital Manufacturing Systems Engineer - Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite manufacturing operations with Monday–Friday daytime support and rotational evening, weekend, and holiday on-call support.

Salary: $90,000–$131,250 per year, plus eligibility for an annual cash bonus.

What you will do

• Support daily Operations and lead Continuous Improvement and CapEx projects for digital aspects of Automated Material Handling Systems.
• Improve and implement changes to Warehouse Execution Systems, Autonomous Mobile Robots, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems.
• Define requirements, develop functional and design specifications, and create validation protocols for system changes and Go-Live activities.
• Coordinate with vendors to code and configure changes, while administering and maintaining AMHS digital platforms.
• Manage user access, audit trail reviews, patching, SSL certificate renewals, and support records across relevant systems.
• Build ServiceNow knowledge articles and collaborate with Automation, IT, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain, and vendor teams.

Requirements

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Execution Systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries.
• Proven ability to deliver large, cross-functional projects while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to align stakeholders, overcome obstacles, and execute strategically.
• Work authorization or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience in a cGMP environment and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Experience with AMRs, ASRSs, conveyors, cranes, and shuttle cars.
• Experience with SAP ECC modules including MM-IM, Plant Maintenance, and Warehouse Management, as well as IDoc monitoring.
• Experience with Oracle databases on Linux, SSL certificates, Veeva Vault QMS Change Controls, and Veeva Validation Management IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
