SAP Cloud Application Developer (SAP BTP)

What you will do

• Design and develop side-by-side extensions and standalone applications on SAP BTP using CAP with Node.js and/or Java.
• Build responsive SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and Fiori elements applications and develop OData v2/v4 services.
• Implement secure integrations using XSUAA, SAP IAS, SAP IPS, SAP Event Mesh, and third-party APIs.
• Deploy and operate applications on Cloud Foundry and Kyma, including scaling, monitoring, observability, and hypercare support.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, apply SAP clean-core principles, and support multi-tenant SaaS capabilities such as tenant onboarding and data isolation.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, enterprise architects, and integration teams while maintaining architecture and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States; the role is 100% remote within the U.S.
• U.S. work authorization is required. U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Five or more years of SAP development experience, including significant hands-on SAP BTP experience; the posting lists six-plus years of overall experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience with CAP in Node.js and/or Java, SAP Fiori/SAPUI5, OData, BTP runtimes, and BTP services.
• Working knowledge of XSUAA, SAP IAS, SAP IPS, CI/CD tooling, SAP S/4HANA extension patterns, and clean-core principles.

Nice to have

• SAP-certified BTP developer credentials.
• Experience with SAP Build, Workflow, Business Rules, or Document Management Service.
• Exposure to SAP AI Core, hyperscaler AI services, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, or multi-tenant SaaS applications.
