Salary: $75.06–$107.61 per hour, pre-benefit gross wage

What you will do

• Design and implement resilient, scalable, cost-efficient cloud-native architectures.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices with Java and Spring Boot or Python.
• Build, deploy, and manage secure containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop distributed data pipelines, dashboards, and data-driven visualization tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and software delivery through IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor production systems, resolve issues, document operational procedures, and collaborate with data architects, DevOps teams, and product managers.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is expected.
• Five or more years of directly related software engineering or cloud development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java with Spring Boot or Python, plus experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with web application frameworks, microservice architectures, and data processing pipelines.
• Required certifications: AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, CKAD, and Elastic Certified Engineer.

Nice to have

• Deep Kubernetes knowledge, including Operators and Custom Resource Definitions.
• Experience with Kafka, Neo4j, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Apache Spark.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
