Specialist, Non-Financial Risk Management (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Advise first-line leaders on risk policies, standards, frameworks, governance, risk appetite, assessments, monitoring, and reporting.
• Review and challenge risk inventories, including trends in likelihood, impact, and materiality.
• Aggregate, analyze, and report business-unit risk metrics for governance committee oversight.
• Assess controls and risks related to operational resiliency, cybersecurity, third-party risk, privacy, process change, and technology initiatives.
• Participate in and present to committees, steering groups, and working groups.
• Support leaders in engagements with regulators, governance specialists, and internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Fortune 500 risk management consulting or dedicated second-line risk management experience in financial services.
• Direct asset management experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks, risk assessments, internal controls, business processes, and root-cause analysis.
• Advanced relationship management, business partnering, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
