TL;DR
Industrial Electrician Mechanic (Food Manufacturing): Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production and utility equipment in an industrial food processing facility with an accent on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems. Focus on diagnosing component-level failures, performing precision alignment and welding, and improving equipment reliability while following LOTO, food safety, and plant safety requirements.
Location: Dixon, California, USA; onsite industrial food processing facility
Pay: $36.18–$40.07 per hour

What you will do
- Maintain, repair, overhaul, and troubleshoot production and processing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures to the component level and identify root causes.
- Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, and other rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, utility, and industrial control systems.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance using schematics, blueprints, manuals, diagnostic tools, and precision measurement equipment.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, brazing, oxyacetylene cutting, and fabrication while supporting production and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, utility, and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and documentation.
- Experience with precision measuring equipment, laser alignment tools, welding, and fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and industrial safety practices; ability to work seasonal overtime.
Nice to have
- Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechatronics, electronics, or a related field.
- Food, tomato, or agricultural processing experience.
- Experience with steam turbines, evaporators, gas-fired boilers, CMMS, PLC-controlled equipment, and reliability programs.
