Social Media Video Editor & Designer (Social Media)

What you will do

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook using strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, transitions, music, voiceovers, and visual effects.
• Adapt content for different platforms, formats, aspect ratios, and technical requirements.
• Create motion graphics and supporting assets such as overlays, text animations, thumbnails, static posts, and Stories.
• Develop creative concepts and video drafts, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and the social media team.
• Review creative performance and improve content based on engagement, retention, and other metrics.
• Maintain organized project files and digital assets with clear version control.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional video editing and creative experience, ideally in social media and digital content.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing tools.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar graphic design tools.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and understanding of pacing, hooks, composition, platform formats, and creative best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with animation, advanced visual effects, influencer campaigns, UGC, or branded collaborations.
• Familiarity with AI-powered video, design, and content creation tools.
• Understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and performance-driven creative.
