Senior Motion Designer & Editor (m/f/div) (Motion Design/Video): Creating high-impact motion and video content, motion systems, and visual narratives for brands across social and digital platforms with an accent on art direction, advanced animation, editing, and post-production. Focus on defining motion languages, maximizing audience retention through pacing, guiding other designers, and integrating AI tools into creative workflows.
Location: Berlin, Germany; flexible hybrid work with 1–2 office days per week

What you will do
- Define and pitch visual and motion direction for projects from discovery through final delivery.
- Create styleframes, scalable visual systems, motion guidelines, and brand movement languages.
- Art direct and edit short-form and long-form video campaigns for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Produce advanced motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, visual effects, sound design, music integration, color grading, and final finishing.
- Apply platform-specific pacing and narrative techniques to improve audience retention and engagement.
- Guide and review other motion designers while collaborating with creative directors, strategists, copywriters, and account leads.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in motion design with strong art direction, visual judgment, and creative leadership.
- Advanced skills in motion design, editing, timing, framing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Hands-on experience creating high-end styleframes, visual systems, and narrative-driven motion concepts.
- Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating conceptual thinking, craft, and execution quality.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Figma, including AI workflows.
- Sharp awareness of social media trends, contemporary editing techniques, emerging technologies, and AI tools.
