Senior Loan Processor (West Coast)

Location: Remote USA; Pacific Standard Time Zone working hours required to support the West Coast region.

What you will do

• Review borrower credit, employment, income, assets, and supporting documentation against applicable loan program requirements.
• Assemble complete loan packages, verify application accuracy, complete checklists, and prepare approval summaries and Forms 1008 and 1003.
• Communicate with borrowers, Loan Originators, Underwriters, vendors, and third parties to obtain missing documents, title information, surveys, flood certificates, and payoff details.
• Review files for mortgage regulatory compliance and prepare required disclosures.
• Manage the loan pipeline, reports, turnaround times, vendor documentation, and communication logs.
• Train and assist new Loan Processors, and support closing, secondary marketing, and servicing teams with outstanding investor requirements.

Requirements

• At least five years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of RESPA and general knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including Regulation Z and Regulation B.
• Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows, along with strong mathematical, analytical, communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Availability to work varying hours and overtime when needed.
