Production Manager (Dubbing/Localization)

Salary: $70,000–$76,000 per year

What you will do

• Create production schedules covering delivery and archiving of final assets.
• Maintain production status trackers, audiovisual and ancillary deliverables, and project budget forecasts.
• Track milestones, communicate schedule changes, and revise plans based on client requests, priorities, and staff or equipment availability.
• Coordinate script creation with directors, adaptors, and content partners, and oversee speaking-role reviews and casting.
• Direct voice talent for special projects and pickups as needed.
• Collaborate with production leadership and department supervisors to improve workflows, SOPs, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in dubbing or post-production.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of video and audio codecs, specifications, and formats.
• Experience creating efficient production schedules and understanding production accounting.
• Experience with VoiceQ or similar scripting software.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Pro Tools.
• Fluency in Japanese, Korean, or another language in addition to English.
• Experience with prelay animation workflows.
• Knowledge of game audio and localization pipelines.
• Experience reviewing produced content for synchronization and quality.
