Associate Materials Manager (Textiles)

Location: Corporate office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday with remote work available on Fridays

Large retail organization operating private and exclusive brands with global sourcing, production, and supply chain operations.

What you will do

• Execute materials sourcing strategies across categories, brands, genders, and mills to balance cost, quality, speed, lead time, and financial goals.
• Partner with Design and Production to develop fabrics and materials for consolidation, newness, innovation, and seasonal strategies.
• Work with mills and garment partners on material development, testing standards, costing, negotiations, commercialization, and performance requirements.
• Maintain physical and digital fabric libraries, PLM records, seasonal palettes, commercialization data, status updates, and cost reporting.
• Support mill strategies, projections, scorecards, capability assessments, service-level terms, consumption charts, inventory risk escalation, and supplier awards.
• Coordinate with Sourcing, Design, Production, QAPI, mills, and vendors while supporting training, documentation, process improvements, and leadership presentations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in textiles, product development, sourcing, production, supply chain, or a related retail function.
• Knowledge of textile construction and global supply chains, with experience in development, sourcing, costing, or material commercialization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, project management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external partners while managing complex priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google platforms, and data or reporting tools.
• Ability to work onsite at the Menomonee Falls corporate office Monday through Thursday.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Design, Sourcing, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in textile manufacturing.
• Experience operating successfully in an international environment.
