Production Team Leader (Food Ingredients)

What you will do

• Operate and monitor production processes from the control room to maintain safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations.
• Operate, control, and troubleshoot plant equipment using PCS, PLC, and SCADA systems, with direct shop-floor support when needed.
• Respond to process deviations and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Maintain accurate process, production, and shift records, as well as plant housekeeping, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Coordinate with field operators, upstream and downstream teams, supervisors, and maintenance during operations and shift handovers.
• Support safety programs, emergency drills, continuous learning, and training for new Process Operators.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on manufacturing operations experience, preferably in chemical or food additive plants.
• Experience with production control systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, processing equipment, plant utilities, and process flow diagrams.
• Ability to follow standard operating and work instructions, perform data entry, prepare reports, and navigate computer systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
