Security Specialist III: Contractor Special Security Representative (CSSR) (Deploy Only) (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; ability to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotation is required.

What you will do

• Provide security support to personnel, visitors, and customers.
• Manage classified materials, security documentation, records, and administrative processes.
• Develop and implement security compliance procedures, policies, and best practices.
• Conduct security awareness training and participate in internal and external audits.
• Respond to security incidents, support investigations, and coordinate visitor and facility security operations.
• Mentor junior security personnel and support security working groups and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of related experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain required SCI or SAP access.
• Knowledge of security regulations, compliance practices, and 32 CFR 117/NISPOM or applicable SCI/SAP regulations.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. government authorizations is required.
• Current valid passport, ability to obtain an international travel visa, successful pre-deployment medical assessment, and ability to meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements are required.
• Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, shifts, and extended OCONUS deployments is required.

Nice to have

• Military or aerospace and defense experience.
• Advanced industrial security knowledge and experience with security information management systems.
• Experience with access control, visitor control, badge management, SCI/SAP security, ICD regulations, DISS, or NISS.
