Contract Special Security Officer (CSSO)

What you will do

• Manage daily SCI security support for the National Cyber Range Complex and coordinate with Government security personnel.
• Process cleared-personnel access actions, SCI indoctrinations, debriefings, Transfers-in-Status, and Visit Authorization Requests.
• Maintain SCIF access rosters, visitor registers, classified-material records, inventories, transportation documentation, and destruction records.
• Conduct security self-inspections, SCIF inspections, alarm-response testing, entry and exit inspections, and electronic-device controls.
• Review classification and public-release materials, maintain the Program Security Classification Guide, and report security incidents or compromises.
• Support security continuity, after-hours security calls, contract transition, and classified-program closeout.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Meaningful SCI security experience in the DoD or intelligence community, including work in an accredited SCIF.
• Working knowledge of SCI personnel, information, and physical security requirements, including DoDM 5105.21 and applicable ICD/ICS requirements.
• Knowledge of current SCIF accreditation and physical security specifications.
• Ability to work independently with Government security personnel.

Nice to have

• Prior CSSO, ACSSO, SSO, Assistant SSO, or equivalent SCI security experience supporting DoD classified programs.
• Experience with access actions, VARs, SCI indoctrinations and debriefings, classified-material accountability, inspections, incident reporting, and contract closeout.
• Experience writing security SOPs and using DISS and SIMS.
• Availability for after-hours security-related calls.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
