Material Inventory Specialist (Warehouse Operations)

Location: San Diego, California; onsite work in Kearny Mesa

Salary: $20.00–$29.67 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Receive, verify, sort, store, issue, stage, palletize, move, dispatch, and ship materials, parts, tools, and assemblies.
• Pick and pack products, process inbound and outbound orders and returns, perform cycle counts, replenish stock, and manage warehouse transfers.
• Enter and maintain inventory transaction data to support accurate inventory records.
• Identify, trace, and reconcile inventory errors, shortages, delays, and inaccurate system data.
• Operate warehouse management systems, RF and barcode technology, reach trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, and two-axle trucks.
• Load and unload vehicles, maintain shipping and receiving areas, and support a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid agency-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Working computer knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing 10–25 pounds, work at heights up to 20 feet, and operate a two-axle truck.
• Availability to work any shift.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants requiring employer-sponsored H, L, TN, F, J, E, or O status are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience with inventory record systems, particularly BaaN.
• Problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
