Material Handler (Inventory Control) (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; onsite warehouse and chemical manufacturing work.

Salary: $30.20 per hour, scheduled Monday through Friday on either 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, identify, store, move, stage, and deliver raw materials, packaging materials, hazardous materials, and finished goods.
• Verify material numbers, lot numbers, quantities, labels, packaging condition, and documentation.
• Operate forklifts and approved warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, drum lifters, scissor lifts, scales, and label printers.
• Complete SAP and Vanquish transactions for receipts, transfers, goods issues, returns, scrap, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records, research discrepancies, and maintain traceability and audit-ready documentation.
• Support production, packaging, shipping, receiving, Lean, 5S, safety, and continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.
• High school diploma or GED and five years of warehouse, material handling, inventory control, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Forklift or comparable powered industrial equipment experience; required certification and training can be provided after hire.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable inventory-management system, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn QT9, Workday, Vanquish, and other company systems.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, staggered hours, weekends, holidays, overtime, and adjusted schedules, and to complete respiratory-protection medical evaluations, fit testing, and safety training.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical, hazardous-materials, or process manufacturing.
• Experience handling flammable, corrosive, temperature-controlled, or regulated materials.
• Experience with hazardous-material shipments, inventory audits, Lean, 5S, Drexel equipment, drum lifters, or scissor lifts.
