Communications/Graphics Specialist

Location: Westfields, Virginia; onsite only with no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $74,031.04–$128,725.61 per year

What you will do

• Develop, facilitate, and manage communications graphics, publications, logos, awards, coins, reports, strategies, plans, and forums.
• Translate complex programmatic and technical information into clear written and visual communications.
• Support communication and engagement strategies for stakeholder communications, organizational branding, and strategic outreach.
• Prepare executive-level briefings for Congressional staffers and VIP visitors.
• Support social morale events, Congressional communications, photography, organizational charts, awards, and special events.
• Work with executive leaders to turn their vision into finished written and displayable products.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required and must be maintainable.
• BS with 5–7 years of experience, MS with 3–5 years, or PhD with 0–2 years of experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience developing and managing communications graphics, publications, strategies, and plans for a large organization.
• Experience working with teams and highly functional staffs with diverse responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Publisher, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other communications tools.

Nice to have

• Degree in arts, marketing, communications, or policy-related studies.
• Web development experience.
• SharePoint experience.
