Senior Advanced Contracts Specialist

Location: United States citizenship required; ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required.

Salary: USD $119,087–$128,856 per year

What you will do

• Act as the focal point for contractual communications and commitments with customers and subcontractors.
• Draft, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts and subcontracts while documenting agreements and outcomes.
• Monitor contract and program performance, manage scope changes, and mitigate performance risks.
• Support proposal and program teams, including subcontractor proposal evaluations, source selection, technical evaluations, and cost or price analysis.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, finance, legal, and other functions to support contract performance.
• Provide subject matter expertise and innovative recommendations for complex contracting and subcontracting issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, or 6 years with a master's degree.
• Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, including FAR and DFARS, and experience with prime contractors or subcontractors.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing contracts for accuracy, performance risk, and compliance with terms and conditions.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, critical-thinking, research, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, resolve moderately complex issues, and collaborate effectively across functions.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance are required.
