Localization Project Manager

What you will do

• Manage localization and internationalization projects for documentation, products, and services.
• Advise internal stakeholders on localization processes, tools, planning, and execution.
• Coordinate external localization and localization-testing suppliers.
• Improve localization processes and tools across the organization.
• Conduct localization-readiness reviews of UX copy and documentation source files.
• Manage the multilingual corporate terminology database using TermWeb and support its continuous development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in software and documentation internationalization or localization.
• Mandatory experience working with or for localization and localization-testing service providers.
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers, QA specialists, and technical writers throughout the software lifecycle.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with industry-standard terminology management systems and localization or translation tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Phrase.
• Experience managing terminology in a corporate or localization and translation service provider environment.
