General Manager of Preconstruction (Power Delivery): Leading preconstruction strategy and major project pursuits for transmission, distribution, substations, renewable energy, and battery energy storage projects with an accent on constructability, estimating, procurement, and risk evaluation. Focus on aligning commercial objectives with operational execution, developing organizational standards, and launching complex power delivery projects successfully.
Location: Neenah, Wisconsin, United States; up to 35% travel required

What you will do
- Lead strategic direction for preconstruction and project pursuit activities across the power delivery portfolio.
- Oversee constructability reviews, execution planning, risk assessments, bid reviews, and proposal development.
- Lead major pursuits from opportunity evaluation through award, contract execution, and operational handoff.
- Guide conceptual budgets, pricing strategies, labor assumptions, procurement approaches, and schedule requirements.
- Partner with operations, engineering, procurement, project controls, business development, and executive leadership.
- Develop preconstruction standards, improve forecasting and project startup performance, and coach future leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, project management, or a related discipline, with 10+ years of progressive relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
- Leadership experience in preconstruction, estimating, project pursuits, operations, or power delivery construction.
- Strong knowledge of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement planning, contract strategy, risk management, and project execution.
- Experience with complex project pursuits, customer-facing proposals and interviews, and executive-level collaboration.
- Experience supporting transmission, distribution, substation, renewable energy, battery energy storage, or utility infrastructure projects.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel up to 35%.
Nice to have
- Experience with HeavyBid, InEight, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Oracle Unifier, or similar platforms.
- PMP, PE, CCM, MBA, or another relevant industry certification.
