Director, Healthcare Analytics (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Remote-OH; must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide healthcare analytics projects and strategic initiatives.
• Direct advanced population health analytics, outcomes measurement, and managed care value analyses.
• Translate business objectives into actionable analytical solutions and support data-driven proposal development.
• Partner with business, technical, and analytics leaders across multiple health plans and corporate functions.
• Manage executive customer expectations, relationships, escalations, and accountability for analytic service delivery.
• Mentor and develop a team of leaders and analysts while aligning resources with strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, or finance.
• At least 7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, organizational leadership, strategic planning, and operationalizing functional teams.
• Working knowledge of SQL or querying languages, including table creation, indexing, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Understanding of statistical, analytical, data mining, data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis techniques.
• Experience mentoring and training people leaders across multiple areas of focus.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and experience with strategic planning and solutioning.
• Knowledge of Python, R, Microsoft Power BI, and modern business intelligence tools.
• Experience with Medicaid, value-based care, population health programs, or government healthcare procurements.
• Experience with predictive modeling, outcomes measurement, total cost of care analysis, or risk adjustment.
• Experience building or modernizing analytics capabilities, improving automation, and establishing performance measures.
