What you will do

• Lead and produce traffic and transportation engineering designs, including intersection geometry, signing, pavement markings, and traffic control.
• Prepare and review traffic impact analyses, safety assessments, operational evaluations, technical reports, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Evaluate design alternatives and resolve technical issues while balancing constructability, cost, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate technical work with project managers, internal disciplines, subconsultants, clients, public agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Review work prepared by engineers, EITs, designers, and technicians for accuracy and quality.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• At least 4 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with applicable engineering design and analysis software.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
