Loss Mitigation Officer

Location: Must live within daily commuting distance of hirify.global Headquarters in Liberty Lake, Washington, USA; temporary assignments to other locations may be required.

Salary: $23.39–$32.12 per hour

What you will do

• Manage complex delinquency portfolios and contact members to identify causes of default.
• Negotiate tailored repayment and recovery solutions with professionalism and empathy.
• Prepare and recommend accounts for repossession or charge-off after primary collection efforts are exhausted.
• Process internal transfers, external ACH transactions, and debit card payments accurately.
• Identify collection process inefficiencies and implement more effective methods.
• Collaborate on departmental initiatives, complete training, and support team development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in account resolution, account maintenance, or a comparable financial-services role.
• Experience negotiating repayment terms, resolving overdue accounts, and managing high call volumes.
• Working knowledge of consumer deposit and loan products, FDCPA, and UDAAP is preferred.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Must be able to work within daily commuting distance of Liberty Lake, Washington.

• Consumer collections experience.
• Certifications related to collections, finance, or credit risk.
