What you will do
- Lead the frontline AML Operations team responsible for Level 1 reviews, investigation support, and case handling.
- Own training and judgment coaching against AML Compliance SOPs, helping analysts handle complex real-world cases.
- Build and manage the AML KPI scorecard with Analytics, including Decision Quality, First Touch Resolution, and AHT.
- Partner with Quality to streamline four-eye reviews and with Workforce Management on staffing, capacity planning, proficiency curves, and volume patterns.
- Represent AML Operations in cross-functional work with Compliance, Legal, Product, Analytics, and delivery partners.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence while identifying process friction and improving speed and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of operations or people leadership experience; direct AML, fraud, or financial crimes experience is preferred.
- Experience working with product, engineering, or compliance teams in a technology or financial services company.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with workforce management, quality assurance, and analytics tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-volume operating environment.
- CAMS or another AML certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within the first year.
