Fund Accountant (Medior) (24-months FTE contract)

Global wealth management platform provider combining technology, infrastructure, and investment operations for financial institutions and wealth management firms.

What you will do

• Provide fund accounting services and act as a point of contact for operational and accounting queries.
• Produce fund valuations and Net Asset Values accurately and on schedule while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Record, review, and validate fund transactions; execute trades with international fund managers according to mandates and investment guidelines.
• Manage treasury activities, monitor cash positions, and perform complex reconciliations through to resolution.
• Prepare financial and statutory reporting, support client onboarding and fund launches, and liaise with clients, custodians, fund managers, brokers, auditors, and banking partners.
• Improve processes and controls, use technology and reporting tools to investigate issues, and support the development of junior team members.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in fund accounting, financial services operations, investment operations, or a similar role.
• Degree in commerce, business studies, economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, unit pricing, and reconciliation processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; analytical ability, numerical accuracy, strong organisation, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Power BI, data analytics, or automation tools.
• Knowledge of a European language.
