Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Riverside, California, USA; onsite

Salary: $19.00–$21.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.

What you will do

• Perform standardized quality control tests and inspections on products, materials, and components.
• Verify compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Record statistical data and compare results with established standards.
• Document and communicate non-conformances clearly.
• Resolve routine quality questions and problems and escalate complex issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and special assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Basic inspection skills and experience using micrometers, calipers, thread gages, and related tooling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and perform basic calculations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• PC skills for documenting quality data.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, and wear required safety equipment.

Nice to have

• Previous inspection training or experience.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement projects.
