DevOps Engineer (Experienced, Permanent Contract)

What you will do

• Build tools and processes that support infrastructure and application delivery.
• Develop scripting-based automation for application provisioning and managed services.
• Design and implement standardized automation to control, build, and deploy services.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, project managers, and database administrators.
• Handle capacity, change, problem, incident, and release management.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve service performance while meeting agreed SLAs.

Requirements

• Strong English proficiency.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, C++, and object-oriented development.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture implementation.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, NoSQL, MySQL, and Impala.
• Experience with Linux and big data technologies including Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of PaaS technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, and object storage.
