Software Developer (Architecture & DevSecOps)

hirify.global Defence and Space develops aerospace and space systems, including the EGNOS v3 European satellite-based augmentation system.

What you will do

• Write clean, optimized, and maintainable code in Python, C++, and/or C according to industrial coding standards.
• Develop and validate navigation subsystems for the EGNOS v3 program.
• Work with senior engineers to learn and apply software design patterns, system dependencies, and modular architecture.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated SAST scanning, and dependency checks.
• Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring workflows for reproducible and scalable development.
• Contribute to architectural and procedural documentation for industrialized deployments.

Requirements

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid academic or practical programming experience with Python, C++, or C.
• Interest in software architecture, automation pipelines, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity in development.
• Understanding of software development at scale, including robustness, automated testing, predictability, and safety.
• Basic knowledge of Git; familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or automation tools is beneficial.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain the required security clearance.
