Technologist (Immunochemical Assays)

Pay rate: $48.02 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate and perform routine immunochemical, biochemical, instrumental, and wet chemistry assays for raw materials, in-process materials, and final products.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including chromatography systems, ELISA readers, mass spectrometers, balances, meters, and biosafety cabinets.
• Complete testing documentation and manage results in LIMS, worksheets, logbooks, audit trails, and quality release documents.
• Support SOP updates, reagent qualification, sample outsourcing, investigations, deviations, CAPA activities, and change controls.
• Execute test transfers, method validations, revalidations, stability studies, and method improvement projects.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, chemicals, equipment records, safety standards, and GMP-compliant work areas.

Requirements

• Minimum four-year bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, or Molecular Biology, plus at least two years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a four-year bachelor's degree and two-year master's degree in a related field, plus at least one year and six months of relevant experience.
• Practical expertise in immunochemical, chemical, and biochemical assays, including aseptic cell culture techniques.
• Knowledge of analytical laboratory techniques, chemistry or biochemistry, immunology, cell biology, mathematics, GMP, and GDP requirements.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office, LIMS, SAP, and laboratory or building monitoring systems.
• Monday to Friday availability from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and willingness to work onsite in Toronto.
