Hardware Power Engineer 1 (Precision Analog/Power Electronics)

Base salary: $62,500–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Design new products and develop technical specifications for production.
• Design, simulate, implement physical layouts for, verify, and test analog and power electronics.
• Analyze hardware configurations and processing solutions and test hardware conformance to specifications.
• Support planning, design, testing, deployment, and sustainment throughout the engineering life cycle.
• Collaborate with management, internal teams, and development partners on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to technical reports and presentations and communicate challenges to project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and printed circuit board layout.
• Ability to perform circuit simulation using SPICE or comparable simulation tools.
• Experience with system modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, or comparable tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
