Senior Finance Director (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, with the role located in East Aurora, New York; relocation and on-site presence required

Salary: $230,000–$285,000 annually

What you will do

• Partner with Commercial Aircraft Group leadership on division strategy through financial modeling and decision support.
• Lead executive reporting and end-to-end financial accountability for the group, division, and site, including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, close, forecasting, budgeting, and expense management.
• Direct sales, gross margin, operating margin, free cash flow, and capital investment forecasting and analysis.
• Oversee technical accounting conclusions, balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls, and internal and external audit support.
• Support major proposals through cost analysis, pricing, and negotiations.
• Manage, recruit, coach, and develop the finance organization while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• More than 15 years of progressive accounting, finance, or FP&A experience.
• More than 10 years of experience leading, coaching, and managing high-performing finance teams.
• Experience with ASC 606 long-term accounting, complex financial transactions, and contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, advise leadership, and develop direct reports.
• Ability to relocate to East Aurora, New York and work onsite.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience.
• MBA or CPA certification.
• Big Four accounting experience.
• SAP or other ERP business systems experience.
• OneStream experience in consolidation and forecasting.
