Location: Remote, field-based West territory. Candidates must live within California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming and have access to a major airport. The role requires domestic travel of up to 50–75% and business use of a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license.
Salary: $180,000–$220,000 annually, plus eligibility for a 20% bonus target and participation in the long-term incentive plan.

What you will do
- Build and maintain scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders, Centers of Excellence, and investigators in multiple system atrophy.
- Generate, synthesize, and document actionable field insights that inform evidence strategy, publication planning, disease education, portfolio decisions, and launch readiness.
- Partner with Medical Directors, Clinical Development, Evidence Strategy, and other cross-functional teams on scientific priorities.
- Support investigator-initiated trials, grants, research collaborations, clinical development, investigator identification, and site outreach.
- Deliver non-promotional disease education and support congress strategy through high-value scientific discussions and KOL engagement.
- Mentor new MSLs and contribute to field medical initiatives, process improvements, and compliant execution.
Requirements
- Accredited advanced degree in a health or life sciences field.
- At least 5 years of healthcare or related experience and at least 2 years of customer-facing Field Medical Affairs experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
- Experience supporting pre-launch assets, including KOL identification, strategic mapping, and trial site engagement.
- Ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate it into scientific dialogue and decision-relevant insights.
- Strong communication, influencing, strategic thinking, accountability, and matrixed collaboration skills.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license, use a personal vehicle for business, live within the West territory, and travel domestically up to 50–75%.
Nice to have
- Doctoral degree such as MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD; an advanced clinical degree; or a master's degree in health sciences.
- Experience in rare disease, Parkinson's disease, neurodegenerative disorders, ataxia, autonomic disorders, or related areas.
- Clinical practice, academic research, or teaching experience.
- Established relationships and expertise within the rare disease ecosystem.
