Accounts Receivable Credit Controller

Location: Bedford, United Kingdom; full-time office-based at the Bedford head office. A driving licence and access to a car are required.

What you will do

• Manage credit control and follow up sellers for payment of outstanding debt.
• Allocate seller payments and provide remittances and daily payment runs.
• Resolve invoice, payment, VAT invoice, and general account queries.
• Prepare month-end and year-end reports.
• Liaise with internal departments and yards to resolve queries promptly.
• Check and dispatch invoices when required and monitor the shared email inbox.

Requirements

• Excellent Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP, macros, and pivot tables.
• Experience managing large quantities of data.
• High-level customer service experience and the ability to engage managers at different levels of seniority.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Credit control experience and an AAT qualification, or progress toward one, are advantageous.
• Must be able to drive and have access to a car for the Bedford office location.
