Software Engineer with C++ Developer for Infrastructure and Network Development Team (Full Remote / Hybrid) (Infrastructure and Network)

What you will do

• Define technical solutions with Product Owners and Architects.
• Develop new infrastructure and network products with other engineers.
• Extend and maintain existing products throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the Enhanced Backup solution, which supports millions of web hosts and processes up to 2 Peta/day.
• Work with Linux systems, complex file systems, backup modules, and related infrastructure tooling.

Requirements

• Excellent C++ knowledge, including C++17 or later, STL, multithreading, and network programming with TCP and UDP.
• Very good knowledge of CMake and Debian-based Linux systems, including file-system hierarchy, permissions, processes, signals, forking, and IPC.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and Google Test for API development and unit testing.
• Working knowledge of Python, Docker, docker-compose, and OpenSSL.
• Very good written and verbal English skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of backup and block-based backup theory.
• Experience with C++ Concepts, Boost, Protobuf, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, and other DevOps technologies.
