What you will do
- Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code according to functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.
- Follow software engineering standards, development methodologies, and release processes to produce maintainable, scalable, and supportable code.
- Investigate software issues by reviewing and debugging code, then provide fixes and workarounds.
- Review changes for operability and support existing software solutions.
- Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical accountability and support during solution design for new requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, IT, Computing, or an equivalent qualification.
- 3–4 years of experience writing software code in Java.
- Good knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
