Vehicle Readiness Operator (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Onsite at the AV-Depot in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Rotating morning, evening, and overnight shifts in a 24/7 operation, with 6 days on and 1 day off.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles entering the depot and determine the required action.
• Complete launch-readiness checks, sign-offs, and vehicle launch support, including software updates and AV troubleshooting.
• Arrange, manoeuvre, and transit vehicles; set up chargers and manage charging cycles.
• Maintain vehicle lifecycle data and use operational systems to monitor vehicle states, log tasks, and communicate updates.
• Maintain vehicle presentation, depot cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance documentation.
• Respond to changing operational requirements and support shift efficiency across a 24/7 fleet operation.

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving licence held for at least one year.
• Technical comfort with modern apps, digital systems, and communication platforms.
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in changing, high-pressure situations.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Prior autonomous vehicle experience.
