PAM Engineer (BeyondTrust): Designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise privileged access and identity security solutions with an accent on BeyondTrust PAM, Microsoft Entra ID, automation, and secure application integrations. Focus on onboarding privileged identities, engineering PAM/IAM integrations, automating identity operations, and enforcing least-privilege and Zero Trust controls.
Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid work schedule with office presence required
Annual base salary: $135,800–$183,800, plus potential discretionary bonus and stock awards depending on role eligibility.

What you will do
- Design, configure, administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise PAM solutions using BeyondTrust.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID capabilities including Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM, MFA, SSO, and enterprise applications.
- Onboard applications, privileged accounts, service accounts, and other identities into PAM platforms.
- Integrate PAM with directories, applications, servers, cloud platforms, IAM, IGA, MFA, and SSO technologies.
- Develop scripts, automation, testing, and validation for identity operations and deployment reliability.
- Support access reviews, audits, compliance remediation, technical designs, documentation, production support, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in PAM, IAM, identity security, security engineering, or related technologies.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering enterprise PAM platforms with BeyondTrust.
- Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM, MFA, SSO, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with credential vaulting, password rotation, session management, least privilege, authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access controls.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and audit or compliance requirements including SOX controls.
