What you will do

• Submit loan modification workups across the full range of investor workout options.
• Review tax returns, income statements, pay stubs, credit reports, and other financial documents.
• Determine suitable repayment options and calculate loan modification terms.
• Communicate with customers, real estate agents, attorneys, title vendors, and internal loss mitigation teams regarding short sales and account issues.
• Assess property values and compare appraisals with offers from potential buyers.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 70 loans and prepare workout summaries for management approval.

Requirements

• At least 3 combined years of higher education and/or experience, including 1 year of collections or underwriting experience.
• Effective and professional phone communication skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to follow banking policies, investor guidelines, applicable regulations, and operational risk controls.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Paralegal certification or experience.
• Mortgage collections experience.
• Knowledge of M&T systems.
