Associate Technical Writer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Wakefield, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Document product features in online help and monthly release overviews.
• Write client-facing bug fix and release notes for monthly releases.
• Produce and maintain upgrade documentation packages for individual client environments.
• Coordinate documentation reviews with Product, Engineering, QA, and Client Delivery teams.
• Write the internal monthly newsletter and support special company projects.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience writing technical documentation for software products.
• Experience with single-source documentation authoring tools such as MadCap Flare.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with investing principles and software development and testing processes.
• Familiarity with source control and issue-tracking tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial software, fintech, or AI tools for research.
• Experience scripting and building training videos.
