Data Engineer (Python)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; Workplace: Hybrid

Gross salary: €3,500–€5,000 per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Analyze the data ecosystem and define relationships between data sources.
• Architect and maintain robust data models.
• Build and optimize scalable, high-performance data pipelines with Google Cloud Platform and Airflow.
• Translate business logic into efficient transformations while maintaining data quality and system reliability.
• Develop internal applications, automations, and reverse ETLs with Python.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and create scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally Google Cloud or AWS.
• Knowledge of DataOps practices and tools, including Git, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles.
• Structured problem-solving approach, clear communication, ownership, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, Claude Agent SDK, or Google ADK.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n.
• Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or Redpanda.
• Proficiency in ClickHouse and other OLAP databases.
• Technical aptitude and comfort with engineering-related discussions.
