Analytics Engineer (Finance)

Location: Hybrid work in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania, with two recommended office days per week.

Salary: €3,433–€4,650 gross per month.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable financial data models in BigQuery and dbt.
• Transform operational and carrier invoicing data into trusted finance-ready datasets.
• Implement automated data quality controls, reconciliation checks, and anomaly detection.
• Monitor pipeline freshness, volume shifts, schema changes, and production reliability.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and apply permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with Finance and FinOps stakeholders and contribute to Looker models and dashboards.

Requirements

• Experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a closely related data role building production-grade pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills with a focus on clean, readable, and performant queries.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Git, including modular modeling and testing practices.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and incremental processing.
• Strong English communication skills are required for discussing technical trade-offs, explaining concepts, and documenting data models.
• Pragmatic problem-solving approach focused on data correctness, auditability, and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Python, or Looker.
• Exposure to invoice reconciliation, revenue or cost allocation, general ledger, or accounting periods.
